It doesn't matter how you play the game, it's whether you win or lose, and even that doesn't make that much difference. ~ Coach Finstock ~

Wonderlic

In the past few weeks a handful of the wonderlic scores of upcoming NFL draftees have been leaked, which prompted the question......and? The wonderlic is a test given by NFL teams at the combine, it is a test used to assess the aptitude of prospective employees for learning and problem-solving.

Not sure if it really means anything. A.J. Green (wide receiver-Georgia) and Patrick Peterson (cornerback-LSU) were two of the draftees who had their scores leaked, and they both scored low. Green answered 10 right and Peterson only single digits. The sad part is that teams shy away from players due to this score. I would gladly take both players right now as I believe they will be game changers in the NFL. The highest score was scored by Greg McElroy (quarterback-Alabama) who will most likely be a late round pick and be a third string QB, he answered 43 or the 49 he answered.

This brings up another reason that ESPN, sports talk radio, etc exist, because they spend time talking about this stuff. At the end of the day they stop short of asking the most important question......and what does it mean?

Here is a sample test to see where you would score.
