It is one thing to restrict phone use, putting on make-up or other distractions while driving, but this is ridiculous. Some folks in New York are proposing a bill to ban the use of cell phones, iPods, or other electronic devices while crossing streets, including those walking or running. Similar bills are up for debate California, Oregon and Virginia. What about the land of the free, damn!
At what point is it not the government's job to ban all of this stuff and let people be responsible for their own stupidity. Do not know that I have heard about a lot of people listening to a-Ha and getting hit by a car.
The folks at the "The Toilet Paper" had it right, what is next banning chewing gum.
